Eye of Horus Amulet Egyptian, Faience, 27th - 30th Dynasty (525 - 332 B.C.) The Eye of Horus or Wedjat Eye was worn as an amulet to protect the wearer from harm. This Wedjat would have most likely been woven into the web of beads covering a mummy for protection in the afterlife
